Hi Aibanese,

Since I am a new member to Aibanese, it would be more proper way to let you know who am I and why I would like to become an Aiban Club’s member. Thus, let me introduce myself to Aiban Club. My name is Trung-Ta, I am an old friend of Peimei and Thai-Quach. We attended the same elementary school; Chanh-Tam elementary in Phu-Nhuan District 40 some years ago. I am currently living in San-Diego, California.

I came across Aiban web site more than a month ago. From the site, I am blessed that I have found my long lost friends and also Aibanese.com. This is my double blessing; I found my old friends Peimei, Thai and then Aibanese, a group of loving people. In addition, I would like to take this opportunity to thank James for making the connection, making the friendship happen right here at Aibanese.com.

I enjoyed the Aibanese site. I surfed aibanese.com quite often. Personally, I think and feel that Aiban is a very unique group with one of a kind web site. I even developed a feeling of some people style (Like Anh Loc’s unique every Monday morning greetings! Edwin felt much concern for all .…) The site looks very simple, very plain, but the value is in the content of the site; it has so many different subjects, many languages, laughter’s, jokes, photos …, it just likes an immense blue sky (Ya! Minh-Vien’s Sky), it is twinkling with stars; Star of loves, star of friendships, and star of hard works and dreams

A birthday card with cute message, a short poem from Chi Lam-Le-Dung teasing each others, a concern note from Chi Celine, for a friend who is having problem with back pain…I can see love and friendship twinkling far more than any thing else!

When I was reading pages after pages, I also feel the present of hard works of dedicated people who is determined, rain or shine, wind or storm, to hold all the members together. I do feel the voice of encouragement when the time is down. I can feel someone is trying hard to keep the fire from being put out in some dark, cold night…. To me, this is hard works and a form of loves to keep the friendship going stronger! I am really impressed and inspired this great friendship with love! Today, Aiban really gives me a warm feeling in this cold and materialistic world. Aiban Club to me is:“Một Chút Mặt Trời Trong Nước Lạnh.” ** Title of a book that I’ve been read 30 some years ago.
Aibanese, keep up the good work and keep the fire burning!
